I-5 drive to Seattle

Had a mellow drive to Seattle today on the I-5 and no tickets, first trip in a while without.  Which reminds me I better call the DMV to see if I lost my right to drive.

One of my favorite things lately has been shooting out of focus.  It gives this get impressionistic feel here is an image from the other day.

Waking up in Cleveland, Ohio

My In-laws are setting sail this week from Cleveland, Ohio’s Edgewater Yacht Club to the Caribbean, Central American, and back to God’s country and freedom soil… the Northwest.  We all met up in Michigan for some visiting of other relatives and friends and then drove back to Cleveland arriving around mid-night to a rain soaked boat.  Here are a couple of shots from the YC and the “NIGHT GALLEY” .

I spent the last few days back at home in Michigan visiting my family and friends.  While staying at my grandparent cottage on Grand Traverse Bay I came across one of my great great grandfather’s possessions.  This is one of the original field notes on the 19th century.  If you don’t know about Field Notes please check out DDC to learn more and to get on board.
